Autumn 2026: the releases and anniversaries on collectors' radar
Autumn is always a busy stretch in the watch calendar, and 2026 is no exception. Between anniversary years at two of the biggest names in the industry and a steady flow of new references arriving with retailers, there is plenty for collectors to weigh up before the year closes.
Tudor's centenary year
Tudor was founded in 1926 by Hans Wilsdorf — the same man behind Rolex — which makes 2026 its centenary. Anniversaries tend to sharpen attention on a brand's core lines, and for Tudor that means the Black Bay family: the heritage diver that has become the most recognisable thing the brand makes. Centenary years often bring a measure of extra demand, particularly for the pieces that sit closest to the original designs.
Fifty years of the Nautilus
Patek Philippe introduced the Nautilus in 1976, so 2026 marks fifty years of the steel sports Patek that changed how people thought about the brand. Half-century milestones rarely pass quietly, and steel Nautilus references have been among the most closely watched pieces in the pre-owned market for years. If you own one, the anniversary is a sensible moment to have it appraised.
New references landing this autumn
September brought a fresh round of releases across the market — Hamilton, Oris, Doxa and Tudor among them, according to the watch press. Seiko has confirmed a fan-selected Prospex diver's watch, limited to 4,500 pieces and available from October 2026 through selected retailers. Meanwhile WatchTime New York returns in October with new pieces from the likes of Blancpain, Glashütte Original, Oris, Arnold & Son, L.Leroy, KUDOKE and Citizen.
- Anniversary years (Tudor 100, Nautilus 50) tend to lift interest in the models they celebrate.
- Limited editions in the 4,000–5,000 piece range usually sell through quickly at retail — and appear on the secondary market almost immediately.
