Omega Seamaster Diver 300M with a green dial and a steel mesh bracelet, from our own stock

Omega has released its first Seamaster collection to cover both sides of the James Bond story, pairing a watch for the secret agent with a watch for Spectre. The launch took place on 5 October 2026, the day fans mark as James Bond Day, and is built around two special-edition Seamaster Diver 300M models — one blue, one black — alongside two numbered collector sets that add platinum-gold watches.

Two sides of the same watch

Both editions are based on the no-date Seamaster Diver 300M that Omega added to its regular collection in 2024, and they share the same architecture. The stainless-steel case is 42mm wide, 14.23mm thick and 50mm from lug to lug, with 300 metres of water resistance. Inside sits the in-house Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 8806, an automatic movement with a 55-hour power reserve that is certified as a chronometer by both COSC and METAS, and a sapphire caseback shows the decoration on the rotor.

The James Bond edition (ref. 210.30.42.20.03.004) follows the classic formula: a blue aluminium dial with laser-engraved waves, a grade 5 titanium bezel insert, and Bond's coat of arms worked into the double marker at 12 o'clock. Its rotor is shaped like the gun-barrel motif from the films' opening sequence. The Spectre edition (ref. 210.30.42.20.01.023) goes the other way: a black ceramic bezel, a blackened dial with a grained finish, and a blackened octopus rotor standing for the organisation's emblem. Both come on Omega's brushed steel mesh bracelet, the signature of the no-date range.

The pair went on sale on 5 October at Omega boutiques and on the brand's website. Both are special editions rather than limited ones. Pricing is US$8,600, €8,500 or CHF 6,700 depending on the market, and Time+Tide notes that the dollar price carries a US$1,300 premium over the comparable non-Bond no-date model.

“OMEGA has been the watch of James Bond for more than thirty years, and this is the first time we have brought James Bond and SPECTRE together in a collection,” says Raynald Aeschlimann, President and CEO of Omega.

The 77-piece sets

Above the standard watches sit two collector sets, one for James Bond and one for Spectre, each limited to 77 numbered examples. Every set contains the steel watch, marked with its number on a plate at 9 o'clock, plus a second watch in Omega's platinum-gold alloy — roughly 95 per cent platinum — on an alligator strap. The sets come in a presentation box with an additional NATO strap, a strap-changing tool, cufflinks, a cord bracelet, a loupe, a travel pouch and a certificate of authenticity.

Those platinum-gold pieces are the most elaborate Seamasters in the release. Their dials are solid 18k white gold with engraved patterns: a gun-barrel motif under blue gradient PVD in the Bond set, an octopus design under a grey-to-black gradient in the Spectre set. The bezels are polished ceramic with platinum diving scales, and the rotor emblems are executed in Moonshine Gold. The sets are priced at €88,500, CHF 70,000 or US$89,800, and Omega says the watches inside are not sold separately.

What it means for buyers and sellers

For anyone active in the pre-owned market, the distinction between the two halves of the release matters. The steel Bond and Spectre editions are not capped in number, so in time they should reach the secondary market in steady supply, much as Omega's earlier special editions have. The sets are the scarce part — 77 of each, sold complete with their presentation boxes and accessories — and those are the pieces collectors tend to chase.

Omega's Bond connection stretches back to GoldenEye in 1995 and has produced a steady stream of editions since, including the Seamaster Diver 300M made for the franchise's 60th anniversary in 2022. New chapters tend to pull attention back to the models that came before, which is worth remembering whether you are buying or selling.
